Kiddoly is a family support app. This policy explains how information entered by parents and caregivers is used in the app. Contact us at [email protected] with privacy questions.
Who the app is for
Kiddoly accounts are intended for adults managing information for their household. Children use features under an adult's supervision. Parents and caregivers decide what child information to enter and which household members to invite.
Information we handle
- Account details, such as your email address, name when provided, sign-in provider, and account identifiers.
- Child and household details you enter, which may include names, ages, routines, developmental background, diagnoses, goals, guardian details, and invitations.
- Activity records you create, such as schedules, food and meal records, mood entries, potty training, communication progress, and related app settings.
- Purchase information needed to show Premium access, such as product, entitlement, subscription status, and expiry. We do not receive your full payment card number.
- Photos and voice recordings you choose for custom communication cards and emotion cards. Personal cards and related settings are stored on your device. If you explicitly enable communication-board sharing, the shared photos, voice recordings, card labels, groups, favorites and related child visibility settings are uploaded so members of your selected household can use the board. Built-in images and sounds are included with the app.
How we use information
We use this information to sign you in, provide and sync app features, share household information with people you invite, show purchase status, respond to support requests, maintain security, and comply with applicable obligations. We do not sell family or child information.
Services involved
Supabase provides account authentication and cloud storage for app records. Apple or Google may provide sign-in and process purchases. RevenueCat processes purchase and entitlement status so Kiddoly can enable Premium. These providers handle information needed for their services under their own policies.
Storage and sharing
Cloud records are stored through Supabase and accessed according to household permissions. Communication-board sharing is optional. A Premium publisher can share and update their own board with a selected household. Other household members can select a read-only copy without purchasing a separate Premium subscription. Shared photos and voice recordings are stored in private cloud storage and downloaded through time-limited access links after household access is checked. Receiving devices cache downloaded boards and media for use on the device. Sentences, recent taps, quick phrases and parent accessibility preferences are not included in the shared board. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or needed to protect the service and users.
Your choices and deletion
You can change or delete many records in the app. You can delete your account in Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete Account. A publisher can stop sharing a communication board. Removing access cannot immediately erase an offline device’s cached copy; access changes take effect when that device reconnects. Publisher departure or account deletion removes the shared board, and shared media is queued for cleanup rather than erased instantly. To request account and associated data deletion by email, contact [email protected] with the subject “Account Deletion Request.” We may need to verify your account before processing the request. Some records may be retained for a limited period where required for security, legal obligations, transaction records, or backups. Removing the app also removes device-only files managed by the app, but does not by itself delete cloud records or cancel a store subscription.
Security
We use access controls and service providers' security measures to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Please keep access to your device and email account secure.
